Repeat Ritual: Weekly Drop #003
Golden hour grooves. Playful rhythms. Soulful shifts from laid-back to full-on funk. Let’s start the weekend together — one track at a time.
Another Friday, another Repeat Ritual. To be honest, this has slowly become one of the most grounding parts of my week. Taking the time to dig, select, and shape a sonic journey feels like a moment just for me — and now, for us.
This week has been a bit intense on my side — some moments of doubt, others full of sparks. But music, once again, brought a little light and reminded me to breathe deeper and groove slower. So here’s a playlist that reflects that gentle dance: warm but bold, playful but soulful.
How was your week?
Did you take time to slow down? Or was it one of those weeks you just needed to power through?
Either way, I hope this drop gives you a little breath of fresh air and a new rhythm to move with.
✨ This is still a work in progress — a small personal project finding its flow. So if something feels off or you have ideas, I’m all ears. Your feedback is more than welcome 🙏
This week’s mix dips into:
Jazz-hop / Chill-funk / Retro grooves / Electronica / Soulful Disco / Lo-fi Beatwork / Deep Pop textures
And this is what I love about it:
It starts with introspective warmth and slowly leans into cheeky energy. There’s a bounce, a brightness — but it’s never too much. Just like a good day should feel.

(44 min 46 sec total playtime) with track-by-track notes
Here’s the ride:
Bomel – SUNDAY
➤ Golden chords, mellow funk, and an easy optimism.
→ A soulful salute to the slowest day of the week — Sunday lovers, this one’s for you.
COMA – A-Train
➤ Retro-electro with a steady pulse and synth-soaked glow.
→ Feels like watching the sunrise from a moving train — preferably not on a Monday, but it works.
Basement Freaks feat. Georges Perin – Out of My Way
➤ Brass-driven funk with raw edges and soulful flair.
→ Busts the door open with groove. One of this week’s secret weapons.
💎 Hidden gem
Marbert Rocel – Clapeople
➤ Jazzy, dreamy electronica with vocal textures that float and twist.
→ Coffee shop jazz in a slightly alternate reality.
Kraak & Smaak feat. Wolfgang Valbrun – Guilty Discomforts
➤ Modern soul with a thick bassline and velvet delivery.
→ For when your guilty pleasure is just feeling too damn smooth.
Izzy Wise – Keep It Movin’ (Uptown Funk Empire Remix)
➤ High-octane funk remix with horns and vintage punch.
→ Feels like a rooftop party in 1979 — no dress code, just moves.
🕺 Disco flashback
Zwicker – Oddity
➤ Experimental house with layered moods and playful weirdness.
→ Leftfield, late-night, and oddly comforting.
Cannibal Kiss – Touch the Flame
➤ Dark synth-pop with a brooding beat and cinematic edge.
→ Add this to your night run playlist — or your slow-burn movie soundtrack.
🏃♂️ Running performance booster
Synapson feat. Tessa B – Going Back to My Roots
➤ Afro-house heat with percussive drive and soaring vocals.
→ Festival sunshine and barefoot dancing energy. The most known track of the week — for good reason.
Blakkat feat. Aswan – The Rite Place (Crazy P Remix)
➤ Glittery nu-disco remix with hypnotic groove and soulful lift.
→ Aperitivo hour meets afterparty shimmer.
💫 Club-lounge blend
A Vision of Panorama, Lapa Dula – Bagnino
➤ Instrumental Balearic breeze with silky synths and seaside charm.
